Departing from: Alimos, Athens
Duration: 7 days
100 nautical miles*
Day 1
Arrival & Check-in, Alimos Marina, Athens
Welcome to Alimos Marina, the largest marina in the Eastern Mediterranean and
the ideal starting point for your Greek sailing adventure. If you have time,
head into Athens to explore its many historic sites before setting sail. Visit
the iconic Parthenon and the Acropolis Museum, and then enjoy dinner in this
ancient city. Afterward, return to your yacht at Alimos Marina, ready to embark
on your journey the next morning.
Day 2:
Alimos Marina to Aegina
15nm*
Aegina, famous for its beautiful beaches, is often the first and last stop on a
Saronic yacht charter due to its close proximity to Athens. The town quay is
just a stone's throw from local bars and family-run restaurants, offering a
delightful taste of Greek hospitality. Nearby, you can explore the ruins of the
Temple of Apollo and the Temple of Aphaia, both well worth a visit.
Day 3
Aegina to Poros
20nm*
Poros is a beautiful island worth exploring, and renting mopeds or quad bikes
can be a great way to see the island at your own pace. As you sail towards Poros
Town, you'll notice that the island is separated from the Peloponnese peninsula
by a narrow channel. Poros is one of the most vibrant destinations on our route,
featuring lively bars and restaurants during the summer season.
Despite its lively atmosphere, you're never far from quiet and stunning beaches,
especially if you hire a quad or moped.
Day 5
Dhokos Island to Hydra
10nm*
Hydra is an idyllic Mediterranean town, renowned for its charming restaurants,
lively bars, and magnificent views.
Famous for having no cars, only donkeys for transportation, Hydra has been a
hideout for several famous personalities, including members of the Rolling
Stones. The island offers fantastic swimming and snorkeling opportunities in its
crystal-clear waters.
